14.8. Export Data

You can export data from your Spike database to a file in a format suitable for common Word Processing and Spreadsheet programs.

Steps to: Export Data

  1. Select BOOKING+BILLING / OTHER / EXPORT DATA / ACCOUNTS / ACCOUNTS LIST or ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

    Note: ACCOUNTS can be substituted for CHILDREN, ADULTS or BOOKINGS.

  2. If exporting Accounts Receivable, enter the period ending date required.

  3. Select all ACCOUNTS, CHILDREN or ADULTS you wish to export by selecting 'All Accounts' or by opting for 'Select Range' and selecting the corresponding Check Boxes.

  4. Take note of the data path and file name as this is where you will find your exported data file.

  5. Select OK.

  6. This file name can now be located and utilised in common Word Processing and Spreadsheet programs for applications such as Mail Merge etc.
